The representatives of “Justice” Party were welcomed by salt and bread in Jrashen village of Spitak region. Jrashen people say they couldn’t greet their co-villager Atom Mkhitaryan in other way, who is the second in the proportional list of “Justice” Party .

The young political figures laid a wreath to the Monument for Earthquake victims. They also told those present in the village square why they had decided to become MPs. “Seeing what is going on in our country, we decided to go into politics to improve the living conditions of our people” , Hakob Abrahamyan, Chairman of “Pyunik” Union for Invalids of Armenia, says.

Atom Mkhitaryan told his co-villagers he had dreamt of their village to become the center of Armenia since childhood. So he decided to participate in the elections, “to take new ideas to parliament and to infect the public by them”. But the ideas of “Justice” didn’t give hope to all the voters of Jrashen. “No problem will be solved as there is no future” , Boris Karapetyan said.

80% of Jrashen people has lived in trailers since 1988 earthquake till now. There are 3870 residents in Jrashen. Majority of villagers is unemployed. Village people say that for lack of manure they don’t succeed to reap bountiful harvest. However, Jrashen residents decided to make an attempt one more time.
