A NEW CONSULAR CLUB IN ARMENIA

The opening measure for “Armenia” Consular Club took place in Foreign Affairs Ministry of Armenia. The certificates were handed to the members of that “non-political, but very diplomatic” organisation. 29 representatives of 16 countries are the club members.

According to Club Chair Armen Yeganyan, the idea for establishing such an organisation, has occurred since 2000. “His Majesty Mr Vartan Oskanian periodically supported the implementation of the idea and generously agreed to become the honorary Chair of “Armenia” Consular Club” .

He wished the organisation every success. The club will spread activity to 3 main directions - specific lectures and courses will be arranged for consuls, culture dialogue will be carried out “in an organised manner” and sport.
