PARLIAMENT SESSION HELD
Support A1+!The voting over the second reading for the bill on ”Privatisation of the Big Enterprises” was turned down in Parliament .
Before the voting Chairman of “Orinats Yerkir” Party announced Government had brought to Parliament the bill, rejected thrice and wants to pass it by one voting. Arthur Baghdasaryan mentioned all the health care institutions that were to be privatised by that bill.
”That’s the bill where by the suggestion of an MP and not by Government a state institution was inscribed in the list of privatised ones” , MP Vartan Bostanjyan said.
Later Mr Bostanjyan informed the above one was the institution of blood transfusion.
”Orinats Yerkir” had asked for 20-minute break before the voting began. At the interval “Voice of People” group head Grigor Harutyunyan said even the intention for privatisation of the blood transfusion institution is disgracing. “We are talking about AIDS so much. It’s the only institution that is to be under state control, National Security Ministry is to control it” , he added.
After the break Parliament Vice-Speaker Tigran Torosyan suggested the Government representative who was not in Parliament to postpone voting: “We have 2 days, maybe better solutions are found”.
Mr Torosyan said it may be that voting over the bill on privatisation of health care institutions is carried out within the three days of sittings. The representative of “National Unity” Gagik Tadevosyan joined the proposal of Torosyan.
The bill wasn’t voted over.
