As members of “Justice” Alliance, 5 candidates for presidency will take part in the parliamentary elections by proportional procedure . The representatives of 9 Opposition parties /People’s Party, “Republic”, National Democratic Union, National Democratic Party, National Democratic Alliance, Constitutional Rights Union, Democratic Party of Armenia, Social Democratic Hnchakyan Party, Social and Democratic Party of Armenia/, intend to make majority in Parliament.

“Influential political powers joined and will appear with one list. It is unprecedented that so many influential powers /137/ will jointly come out for the parliamentary elections” , National Democratic Party Chair Shavarsh Kocharyan announced at today’s conference.

“It’s not an alliance, it’s a battle-front and we will fight in the parliamentary elections” , PP Secretary Stepan Zakaryan informed.

According to “Justice” representatives, they don’t only aim Kocharyan to leave. “It’s just a pre-condition for all the projects and purposes that join us are implemented in Armenia” , NDP Chairman explained. “Any program, even the most perfect one will fail under the conditions of such regime” .

Before holding seats in Parliament and being occupied with Legislative activity, Opposition powers will fight for the results of the presidential elections to be declared invalid. Today the application of Stepan Demirchyan was introduced to CC. “They are material evidence to election irregularities, the incontestable ones. CEC committed outrages. Everything was planned beforehand. Even if our candidate won 100 % of votes, election results would be falsified” , Stepan Zakaryan announced.
