45000 PEOPLE FOR DEMIRCHYAN
Support A1+!More than 45000 people gathered today to attend the meeting with presidential candidate Stepan Demirchyan and his supporters - Raffi Hovanisyan, Arshak Sadoyan, Aram Sargsyan ("Republic"), Aram Sargsyan ("National Democratic Union"), Shavarsh Kocharyan - and other political leaders. Representatives of the 15 parties backing Demirchyan stressed that he's the united opposition candidate for presidency.
Major-General Suren Abrahamyan, former Minister of Internal Affairs, people’s artists Tigran Levonyan and Vladimir Abajyan made speeches before the meeting participants.
Suren Abrahamyan asked for people’s indulgence to not having been able to prevent October 27, then evaluated the situation in the country in details. He thinks all the enterprises making a profit are ruled by Serj Sargssyan and Robert Kocharyan now .
He also spoke about the rumours as if Stepan Demirchyan didn’t serve in the Army. “It is not so, but if some people are worried about that circumstance, I will let Stepan Demirchyan have my rank of Major-General with pleasure ” , he says.
Raffi Hovhannissyan announced Stepan Demirchyan will be the next president to be elected on February 19. People have already made their choice.
One of the letters sent by 8000 Karabaghi peoples deserves to be mentioned. It says they are treated badly because of 2 peoples. Albert Bazeyan called people not to become enemies with Karabaghi people because of 1 or 2 people. “They are our compatriots, we fought for Karabagh, we won victory in the war, we are the same nation!” .
Today’s meeting ended with the speech by Stepan Demirchyan. He announced the country can be saved thanks to joint efforts with people. The meeting proved people to be sick and tired of unlawfulness, non-covered murders and need change of Authorities.
