MINISTRIES MAKE REPORTS OVER THEIR ACTIVITY

Under decision of PM Andranik Manukyan, discussion of reports of 2002 activity of Ministries and State governing bodies at Government will take place from January 20-31.

First Ministries of Public Health, Science and Education introduced reports.

The report by Public Health Ministry says during 2002 indices didn’t change. There is progress in birth rate. 26184 children were born during first 9 months of 2001, 26703 ones - during the same months in 2002 . The indices over infantile mortality stopped - 14.7 in 1999, 15.6 is envisaged in 2002.

Public Health Minister Ararat Mkrtchyan informed about paying off the debts of State budget to the Ministry since 2001.

Science and Education Minister Levon Mkrtchyan spoke about the leading directions of education - system of education management, improvement of legislative field, provision of education quality, in particular.

Under report 20 school buildings were constructed, repair works were carried out in 100 schools .
