THE RE-NEWED COMMUNISTS
Support A1+!Armenia’s Renewed Communists’ Party did its best to criticise Communists’ Party of Armenia at its conference. But praise to Robert Kocharyan didn’t suffer from it .
Though the subject both over coming presidential elections and seconding Kocharyan’s candidature at them stood out at the conference, ARCP didn’t officially announced to back up Kocharyan.
Yuri Manukyan, first secretary of the Central Committee for ARCP, unmercifully criticised Vladimir Darbinyan, first secretary of Central Committee for CPA. He accused Union for 16 Parties in opposition of wrecking Soviet Union, and the Communists’ leader of being in the union with them.
Manukyan mentioned Aram Sargssyan, member of political council for “Republic” Party “among the persons who displayed political activity in wrecking socialist orders in 1988” . Though the Party is communist, its leader praises the liberal values and approaches, reasoning it this way: “In conditions of the social `order`, living level and social mode of life of people can’t be improved though revolutionary slogans and the calls to wreck the present orders will lead to that the Authorities will announce the Party in an invalid condition“.
