POWERFUL SUPPORT FOR KOCHARYAN
Support A1+!The speeches of pro-government parties at the congresses differ from the ones of radical Opposition by one thing as a rule – after evaluating in details the situation at present reporters announce they will second Kocharyan’s candidature .
”Hzor Hayrenik” Party as well announced its active support to the present president.
“Presidential elections are very important event for any party. They will decide the precondition for progress and development of 5 coming years of our country. We call upon both political leaders and powers of the country to base the elections upon ideology and not the struggle for post” , Vartan Vartapetyan, Chair of “Hzor Hayrenik” says.
Mr Vartapetyan didn’t want to speak about the other candidates for Armenian presidency.
“As a guarantor of natural activity of Legislative, Executive and Judicial Powers of a country, a president is to assume responsibility for legal upshot of the situation, restoration of trust between the people and the Authorities, decisive using of his constitutional powers, providing superiority of Laws and uninterrupted usage of them and depoliticization of power structures” , Vartapetyan said in his speech.
The president must change his manner of activity if trying to follow demand of the party Chair. Because no need to be too wise to realise all the planks stated run counter to the reality, especially demand for depoliticization of power structures - the fact of involving Serj Sargsyan in the most serious political process .
Judicial Power was evaluated negatively at the 4-th congress of the Party. Necessity of reforms in the education field was stated, too.
