Today Parliament finished voting of all the issues of special session. 43 out of introduced 44 were voted for and approved.

Government representative Hovik Abrahamyan suggested Parliament to take Criminal Law Code, put for the second reading, out of discussion. Parliament agreed to the offer.

Let’s remind the issue over death penalty in Armenia has a bearing on the above Law Code .

Authorities of Armenia were given a unique chance to register their property a month later the presidential elections .

Today Parliament adopted the bill on ”Making changes and amendments in the Armenian Law” on “Registration of Property and Income of Administrative Workers of Government Bodies of Armenia”

MPs agreed to the proposal by Government representative Armen Alaverdyan, Deputy Chief of State Tax Service, which says henceforth government bodies will register their property and income by March15 and not by February 1 .

The next change by Mr Alaverdyan was that registration system to function for all the office employees.

The third change of the bill is that registration lists will be accepted by Territorial Tax Bodies and not State Revenue Ministry (this Ministry doesn’t exist any more).
