CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT UNION'S CONFERENCE HELD SATURDAY
Support A1+!“The series of conferences the opposition parties have recently staged one after another prove that people has already united in a bid to oust the country current leadership”, National Assembly’s “Right and Unity” fraction leader Artashes Geghamyan said at the Constitutional Right Union conference held Saturday.
The Union leader Grant Khachatryan said in his speech that the party has always come up with oppositional but constructive proposals, which, as rule, are being rejected by the authorities. Analysing the situation in the republic as well as foreign policy pursued by high-level officials and the social crisis people is facing today, Khachatryan said: “Current authorities not only failed in ridding of their predecessors’ wrong policy, but even deepened it”.
In his opinion, present ruling bodies have neither strategy nor tactics to halt the crisis.
Denouncing the 1999 October 27 terrorist action in the House of the Parliament as another earthquake, the Union leader said, as a result, Armenian people have lost their last hope.
Completing his comprehensive and detailed analysis, Khachatryan urged parties to make every effort to oust government. “Today, it is the republic community’s top concern”, he said.
Constitutional Right Union has also made a statement at the conference saying it would support “Herankar” Strategic Centre leader Aram Karapetyan’s candidacy in presidential elections.
