STATE SECRETARY OF FRANCE'S FOREIGN AFFAIRS MINISTRY IN ARMENIA
Support A1+! “Our meetings with any delegation of France take place in a warm climate” ,- today Vartan Oskanyan said after his meeting with Reno Miuzelie, State Secretary of Foreign Affairs Ministry of France. According to Oskanyan, issues regarding both bilateral relations and Karabaghi conflict settlement were discussed at the meeting .
Miuzelie’s visit is regional. Before visiting Armenia he had been to Georgia and Azerbaijan.
“I was empowered by the France’s Government, president Jacques Shirak in order that I should visit the region as a peace messenger” ,- Miuzelie says. He also thinks there is progress in Karabaghi settlement, thanks to the principles acquired in Paris . He considers a success the fact the dialog continues. “Negotiation process continues. Of course, you don’t know details but time will pass and you will become aware of them” ,- he announced.
After his meetings he became sure “both in Azerbaijan and Armenia there are powerful administrative groups which can be negotiated with”.
” Will Heidar Aliev be awarded with Legion of Honour, too?” . The State Secretary answered the question: “I don’t know, I’m not aware of the list of those nominated. Ask Jacques Shirak. But is you succeed to sign a peace treaty, both presidents deserve the Legion of Honour” . The State Secretary was reminded Kocharyan had already been awarded with Legion of Honour .
