ARAM KARAPETYAN IN ARMENIA
Support A1+!Aram Karapetyan, the Doctor of Politics Science having visited Armenia from Moscow, aims to nominate himself for the presidential elections in 2003 in Armenia after having made public his programs. "One may think whether to nominate himself or not only if the programs are acceptable by both the political sphere, parties and people" ,- he says.
He doesn't consider himself a one like Arkadi Vardanyan, the revolution figure. He is also surprised at the rumours as if he is a Russia's protege and denies the fact that he enters the political field of Armenia according to the script agreed with the Authorities . "I think the state like the other political powers will make an attempt to say something about me" ,- he says.
He welcomes the fact president Robert Kocharyan doesn't regard Nagorno Karabagh as a part of Azerbaijan . He is sure Karabagh problem solution is to be studied on a legal ground only . Negotiations are to be carried on only between the Authorities of Karabagh and Azerbaijan. "The international public demands us to turn to the negotiations. But it doesn't recognize the integrity of Karabagh with our country" .
Aram Karapetyan says it may be that Levon Ter-Petrosyan is proposed for the presidential election among the other candidates . "I also think both Armen Sargsyan and Raffi Hovhannisyan to take part in the elections" ,- he says.
He is dissatisfied with the situation in the political field in Armenia. "Armenia's strategical policy is not made more accurate by either the present Authorities or the Opposition" ,- Karapetyan says.
