Two weeks after PDNs were privatised the state and political figures discuss efficiency of the privatisation process in Armenia. At the meeting arranged by the Strategic Research Centre (chaired by former Minister of Foreign Affairs Raffi Hovhannisyan) former PM Aram Sargsyan said our geopolitical position is to be taken into account when shaping the privatisation policy .

"3 out of the 4 neighbours are obvious enemies. It's difficult to understand the 4-th one" ,- former PM says.

Economist Eduard Aghajanov says there are many state companies in the world, prosperous and making a profit like French EDF . MP Harutyun Pambukyan, "Max Group" shareholder as well as PDN bargain "godfather" argues saying "show me a prosperous state enterprise" . Other MP Shavarsh Kocharyan jokes "don't show or else it would be privatised!" .
