POLITICAL ACTIVISTS SPEAK AT BRIEFING
Support A1+!National Unity Party’s leader Artashes Gegamyan said at Thursday’s briefing that there were delayed action mines among 16 opposition parties included in the newly created political alliance. He is convinced they’ll quit the alliance in December saying no accord over common candidate for presidency has been reached between parties.
Artashes Gegamyan also said a crisis program worked out by him would be introduced and put under discussion at the alliance’s coming meeting and added that if there will be anyone able to present the program better than he himself then let it be.
Russia president Putin statement on possible military actions against Chechen terrorists harboured in Georgia’s Pankisi Gorge was also discussed at the briefing. In particular, speaking on Putin’s allegation that terrorism flourishes especially in enclaves, MP Hovhannes Hovhannissyan said not a single international observer has been hurt in Karabakh throughout decade.
