DEFENCE OF THE ARMENIAN SECOND NATIONAL REPORT TOOK PLACE IN NEW YORK

On August 7-th defence of the Armenian Second National report took place in New York in the framework of the special session on Elimination of Discrimination against Women in UNO's Headquarters.

The report was on women's state in Armenia 1996-1999, the legislative amendments regarding the women's problems in the appointed period as well as the steps taken for the solution of those problems .

Commission for Elimination of Discrimination against Women will submit its proposals and conclusions on Armenian Second National Report to the Armenian Government .
