ARMENIAN ARMY MAY BECOME ONE OF THE MOST POWERFULS IN THE REGION
Support A1+!Today the representatives of Armenia's and Russia's Armed Forces jointly demonstrated their fighting trim. Under the contract concluded between Armenia and Russia on Military Cooperation and the training program of 2002 on preparation of Armed Forces of both countries, military exercises by using Air Forces and fighting fire took place today in one of the jumping-off grounds of Armenia . These were the second Russian-Armenian joint exercises after those in 1998.
Armenian and Russian soldiers have been getting prepared for those execises since July the 20-th and were praised today. Alexandr Titov, the Commander of the 102-nd Military base of Russia's Armed Forces said the soldiers were well-prepared and justified expectations . "We believe in power of our Army and today's exercises proved that onec more" ,- said Mikael Harutyunyan, the Armenian Deputy Minister of Defence as well as the Head of General Staff of Armed Forces.
Serj Sargsyan, Armenia's Minister of Defence says if there are analogous military equipment and discipline in Armenia's military units Armenian Army will become one of the most powerfuls in the region . Lieutenant - General Nikolay Zolotov, the Commander of Russian Troops in Transcaucasus agrees with him saying "I highly appraise preparation of Armenian Army".
