FRANCE'S PARLIAMENT PROMISES TO SUPPORT
Support A1+!On August the 9-th Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, the Chair of Foreign Relations Commission of Armenia's Parliament met Rudi Sali, France's Parliament Vice-Speaker and Senator Mrs Odette Ferhad.
Mr Hovhannisyan regards recognition of Armenian Genocide of 1915 in French Parliament as one of the greatest achievements of Armenians and the French . He expects for France's support in Karabaghi conflict settlement taking into account the facts that France is a co-chairing country in OSCE Minsk group and the most productive methods for conflict solution, i.e., "Paris principles" arose in France namely .
Gagik Aslanyan as well, Armenia's Parliament Vice-Speaker received the delegation headed by Rudi Sal. Talking on Karabagh conflict issue, Aslanyan informed the French parliamentarians that Artsakh people have been living in peace for 8 years and aim to join the European values and standards. According to him, this fact is to be appraised by international community .
Gagik Aslanyan also said both Armenian people and political powers are sure peace in the region may have no other alternative .
Rudi Sal stressed the importance of the fact France's president Jacques Shirak does his best to bolster the peaceful settlement of Karabaghi conflict . Mr Sal also mentioned France's positive attitude to Armenia pointing to the fact of Armenian Genocide recognition as a proof .
