VITAL RESOURCE MANAGEMENT AGENCY ESTABLISHED AT GOVERNMENT SESSION
Support A1+!Establishing an agency for "Vital resources' Management" was told to be the most urgent issue under discussion on today's government session.
The newly created agency will be dealing with problems of protecting minerals, natural ecosystems and the environment, says the Deputy Minister for Environment Artashes Ziroyan.
Mr Artashes Ziroyan was proud to state that the level of water in Sevan lake increased this year by 30 cm not only due to abundant precipitations, but also due to savings in water use.
The Deputy Minister assured that by the end of the 21st century the Ministery will increase the wood areas from 11. Several reporters pointed out the Deputy-Minister being too serious about the longevity of the current Ministry for Environment and the government.
