"NATIONAL UNION" WILL APPLY TO OSCE DIPLOMATS
Support A1+!Totalitarian regime is being formed in Armenia. "National Union" party will do its best to substantiate this standpoint to the OSCE countries. For that purpose applications were made to be given to the chairmen of diplomatic representatives of OSCE countries in Armenia.
The party head Artashes Geghamyan informed journalists about this. He also stressed his dissatisfaction with that no true word is uttered in Armenia and the people are deprived of the chance to get an unbiased information after "A1+" and "Noyan Tapan" TV Channels had been shut down by the president's decree.There's an apprehension that the fact will have a negative impact on the forthcoming elections as the Media functioning won't give the opposition figures to represent their standpoints and speeches to the people.
Besides the above-mentioned, in the application to OSCE countries representatives a doubt of that Armenian Courts will make a just decision on "A1+" TV Company is expressed. And in order to prove that there is no TV Company totaly free in the country Mr. Geghamyan cited an example: "Say that no one in Armenia can be occupied with business like import of sugar, petrol, airkerosene, wheat, cigarette is and all these belong to Robert Kocharyan's clan! Make public all these and then cast doubt on what I had said about your false independance! ... you don't do that, do you?"
Besides the application to OSCE countries, "National Union" party also joined the statement of 13 opposition parties on the president's resignation.
