Politics

New mechanism for appraising culture figures activity will soon be functioning in Armenia. Honorary Artist of Armenia, Honorary Journalist and other forms of titles will be set. In the course of today's Government session forms for those titles' diplomas and signs were approved.

The awarding order for title "The Honorary Journalist" caused much interest. It is known that the title is to be awarded by the competitive commission which may well be that consists of the former honorary journalists. But it is not clear yet how the commission will be formed and who is to perform commission members appointment. As Armenian Minister of Culture Roland Sharoyan thinks the Armenian president taking into consideration the recent events will probably stay aside of having anything in common with the commission having any relations with journalists.

The issue on credits allocation for small and medium business in Armenia was marked out in the session. The Bank of Black Sea Co-operation and Development will allocate credit of $ 5.000.000 to Armenia. By the way, recently various international bodies have allocate credit of about $ 41.000.000 to the small and medium business field of Armenia. But till now it hasn't been calculated yet how much the enterprises having spent the afore-mentioned credits have enlarged volume of Armenia Inner Gross Output.

In any case, the mechanisms for allocating the next credit will be set by May. It's already known that the Bank of Black Sea Co-operation and Development has already submitted demand to Armenia for allocating the credit. None of the banks functioning in Armenia will take part in the credit transmission process. Vardan Khachatryan, the Minister of Finance and Economy asserts that execution of credits transmission through neglecting Armenian Bank System doesn't run counter to Armenian Legislation." At the time being, our Civil Law Code makes provisions for arranging deals for CJSCs and LTDs. But now a Law Code is being studied which will make new conditions for credits allocation",- says Vardan Khachatryan.
