Try again. Electoral Code again on agenda of NA session (video)
The agenda of the extraordinary session of the National Assembly is again a package of amendments to the Electoral Code. To remind, this issue was discussed a week ago at the NA session, but the adoption of the package failed because the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) faction did not participate in the vote. As to today's discussion, the Yelk (Way out) faction and Tsarukyan Alliance are for the package. ARF Dashnaktsutyun has announced that it will vote for the package because it is a step forward compared to the current Electoral Code. The RPA has stated that it will not vote for the amendments. However, if we consider the fact that eighteen MPs left the RPA faction can support initiators of the extraordinary session, it is likely that the package of amendments to the Electoral Code will be adopted this time.
