Today the National Assembly is discussing the issue of election of a member of the Constitutional Court. Lawyer Vahe Grigoryan has been nominated for a member of the Constitutional Court. MP Naira Zohrabyan asked a question to Vahe Grigoryan during the question-and-answer session. "Do you believe that in this new political situation, the Constitutional Court will cease to be linked to the government, as it was before? As a former journalist, I have seen for many years how the Constitutional Court has executed the order of the authorities and has always been linked to the government. Do you believe in such transformations in the new realities, whose mentality I cannot imagine how to change?" Vahe Grigoryan responded briefly. "No, I do not believe in it."
