Rector of the Yerevan State Institute of Theater and Cinematography is ready to resign if the investigation finds out he is guilty. "The police conducted checks and published a preliminary statement in which it is stated that the investigation is under way. As long as the investigation has not come to the final conclusion, making any estimates is premature," says Rector Davit Muradyan. The latter mentions that they support the police work, because it is important for them to identify shortcomings. "I understand our students and I do not condemn at all because they are young. They are impatient. An investigation is under way, and we must have a responsible attitude towards such processes." David Muradyan said that one of the vice-rectors submitted a resignation. The fact that lecturers have joined the action, too, the Rector considers it normal.
