Armenian young chess players in group of leaders
Our chess players won in the 2nd round of the World Chess Championship in Turkey's Gebze. Aram Hakobyan and Shant Sargsyan, who have played at the Junior Tournament, have scored 2 points each and are in the lead group. Hayk Martirosyan and Manuel Petrosyan are half a point behind the leaders. Siranush Ghukasyan, who participates in the girls' tournament, also recorded 2 points and now divides the 1-12 places. The matches of the 3rd and 4th rounds will take place today.
