Untitled-12

The village of Arates, which is part of the Yeghegis enlarged community, was liberated from general Hovik Ohanyan. In the video, the residents of the village reveal that the general has not allowed to anyone from the village to mow in that area for 20 years. Accompanied by the police, the villagers and other residents of the surrounding villages showed their abandoned houses in Arates and the uninhabited village by car. In the video, Tigran Yeghoyan from the village of Shatin, draws the attention of the Military Police and the law enforcement agencies to this problem. In the village there is a military bridge, hydropower plants, untreated gardens and non-populated houses. Norayr Maritirosyan, a member of the Yeghegis Enlarged Community Council, points to the abandoned church and damaged khachkars (Armenian cross-stones) and draws the attention of the Ministry of Culture to this problem. Tehmine Yenokyan: The video is from Tigran Yeghoyan's Facebook page.
