RA Ministry of Health: Do not swim in decorative pools
The Ministry of Health warns not to swim in decorative swimming pools. they are not meant for swimming, they do not get disinfected, and this means that they can contain many dangerous bacterias. Nevertheless, in order to prevent children from swimming in these water structures in hot weather, the Ministry has appealed to the City Hall and municipalities to take action in their turn. In this context, all the decorative pools operated by the Water Structures CJSC of Yerevan City Council have been installed booths which shows that swimming and bathing is not allowed there, and inventory and replacements are regularly made. At the same time, the company has set up a migratory group that periodically monitors not swimming in the pools and does explanatory work for those who wanted to swim to eliminate this phenomenon.
