Fish resources increase in Lake Sevan during recent years (video)
Evelina Ghukasyan, Director of the Institute of Hydroecology and Fisheries of the National Academy of Sciences that the ecological state of Lake Sevan has improved over the past two years and this improvement directly affects the fish and crawfish resources.
According to Evelina Ghukasyan, crayfish resources dropped dramatically due to misuse of fishing. The crab reserves are 2700 tons. Also, Evelina Ghukasyan has not seen the negative effects of water withdrawals from Sevan.
