Director of the Institute of Fish Breeding and Hydroecology of Armenia Bardukh Gabrielyan stated that this year, the surface of the Sevan has increased, which has created new, more viable conditions for breeding.
However, the number of fish is not so great. According to Bardukh Gabrielyan, the stockpile poses a greater threat to the hunting of fish. "In recent years, the use of inappropriate tools for hunting has started. It's about Chinese spring-catching hunting that are small and large, which brings not only crushing, but also a reduction of crabs," notes Bardukh Gabrielyan.
The latter considers that the aforementioned should be banned.
