Abuse of official position related to illegal tree logging in Dilijan
A criminal case is initiated by the RA Special Investigative Service on the case of abuse of office by the RA Police official. The Senior Police Officer of the Police of Dilijan was accused of abusing his position during the preliminary investigation on illegal logging, During the preparation of the materials on illegal logging, the police officer made a statement on the explanation of the resident of Haghartsin village, S. Aslanyan; however, during the preliminary investigation of the criminal case, he rejected the participation of this resident in the operation. One more resident of Tavush Marz, E. Sahakyan, stated that the information in the examination and explanation protocols do not correspond to the reality.
