National Assembly fails to assemble quorum for sitting (video)
The March 21 sitting of the National Assembly did not take place due to a lack of quorum. Only 15 MPs had registered by 12.00. “We are experiencing a declining trend. Twenty-three MPs registered for yesterday’s sitting,” NA Vice-Speaker Eduard Sharmazanov said jokingly. He said the next sitting will be held at 3pm but if they do not ensure the quorum of 66 lawmakers needed to start the meeting then the sitting will be rescheduled for March 22.
