Gagik Tsarukyan elected BHK Chairman (video)
The Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) convened its 9th session at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex in Yerevan. The meeting was attended by 2035 of the 2116 members of the party. The congress was chaired over by Ishkhan Zakaryan, a former chairman of the Control Chamber. Gagik Tsarukyan, the founder of the BHK came into the hall accompanied by Naira Zohrabyan and Vahe Enfiajyan. They were welcomed with a storm of applause. Tsarukyan sat in the last raw. In her speech, Naira Zohrabyan thanked her teammates for ‘remaining faithful’ to the party. “The upcoming parliamentary elections will be importance for their political significance,” she said. During the meeting, Gagik Tsarukyan was elected chairman of the party and its board.
