Karabakh: Azerbaijan violated ceasefire 70 times overnight
The Ministry of Defense of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic recorded an increase in the number of ceasefire violations by Azerbaijani military on February 9 and last night. The ministry says that Azerbaijani armed forces violated the truce around 70 times firing some 1000 rounds against Armenian defense position from 60mm and 82mm mortars, grenade launchers and other weapons. The most intense violations were recorded in the eastern, southern and northeastern sections of the frontline, with Azerbaijani troops firing a total of 34 rounds from mortars and grenade launchers. The NKR Ministry of Defense says the frontline units of its Defense Army are in full control of the situation along the line of contact.
