Azerbaijan uses SVD and Istiglal sniper rifle to violate ceasfire
Azerbaijani armed forces violated the ceasefire with Karabakh over 60 times last night, firing more than 900 rounds at Armenian positions, this according to the NKR Ministry of Defense. In addition to rifles and machine guns, Azerbaijani troops also used SVD and Istiglal sniper rifles to fire some 93 shots in the southern (Hadrut) and eastern defense directions. The frontline units of the NKR Defense Army mostly remained committed to the ceasefire, retaliating only in case of extreme necessity. The NKR Ministry of Defense also refutes Azerbaijan’s claims that its troops had downed two Armenian UAVs.
