The guys were deceived - Hrant Margaryan about Sasna Dzrer (video)
In an interview with Yerevan-based Zhoghovurd (People) daily, Hrant Margaryan, a representative of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (Dashnaktsutyun) Party Bureau, referred to the seizure of a Yerevan police station by the Sasna Dzrer group. “The guys took the step because, I think, they were clean, but, let them forgive me for my words, they were deceived...,” he said. What did the group achieve? One cannot lead anything without standing in the frontline himself… It is indecent… It is inhumane to play with people’s patriotism and feelings, throw them into the fire while you stand aside. This type of behavior and attitude is not typical of a reasonable person. I really feel bad for those politicians, the so-called politicians, who said “Bravo,” but refrained from doing the same thing. If they did the right thing, let them repeat it. What was the use of creating that atmosphere? How do you assess the step of the Sasna Dzrer group? The guys took the step because they were clean but let them forgive me for saying it, they were deceived… They thought that hundreds of thousands of people would take to the streets and support them. They were disappointed because they thought that they would be able to change something, but the events of October 27 also proved that it is not possible to change anything in that way, we do not benefit from that way [of struggle], we suffer instead.
