Aram Sargsyan says he is ready to become mediator between government and gunmen who seized police building
“I hear strange reports about yesterday’s accident and the people who are holding several police officers as hostages at Erebuni police compound which they seized on Sunday. I am not a judge to condemn anyone, nor do I welcome the method of solving matters with arms. I am ready to join several politicians and assume the role of a mediator in order to find a peaceful solution to this explosive situation. It is necessary that the authorities demonstrate restraint at this point. I am waiting for a reply from Vazgen Manukyan, Paruyr Hayrikyan, Armen Rustamyan, Larisa Alaverdyan …,” Aram G. Sargsyan said in a Facebook post.
