“Easy attitude towards serious document” (video)
Today at the NA during the discussion of the Tax Code draft, Aram Manukyan noted that it is at least easy attitude to discuss such a serious draft at the end of the NA session. “We received this document the day before yesterday. We take it very seriously, but the matter is that no economist or expert has read it. Our expert was invited only once, but there was no discussion. Our faction physically has no chance to take part in that discussion. If it was a fiction book, it would be read in several days accompanied by brandy, coffee, but it is impossible in case of such a serious document, especially when you don’t give brandy and coffee.” Eduard Sharmazanov replied to the question of Aram Manukyan, “Were [brandy and coffee] given during 4+4+4 discussions, he said and added, you raise a very serious issue. I was informed from the secretariat that the draft was at the NA on April 16-18, but we still have time to discuss this document. It will be discussed also during the extraordinary sitting, so that we can examine it until September.”
