Doctor and nurse suspected of buying and selling a newborn child
In the framework of the criminal case investigated in General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the RA Investigative Committee necessary investigatory actions are taken to find all circumstances of buying and selling a newborn child committed in April, 2016. According to preliminary investigation data, the purchase of the child was conducted through false documents and on July 8, 2016 doctor of medical center N of Yerevan Karine Antonyan and nurse Goharik Khachatryan were arrested on suspicion of organizing it. Investigatory and operative-intelligence measures are taken to find all circumstances of the case, to find all persons involved. Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
