Levon Zurabyan: Government started budget savings from the wrong place

We do not believe that the government will start fighting against monopolies, opposition lawmaker Levon Zurabyan said in the National Assembly today. “They might formally allow some people to import gasoline and sugar to show that they are working. We have a vicious system in which the monetary policy serves the interests of oligarchs,” he said. The head of the opposition Armenian National Congress (HAK) faction says the government has started from the wrong place by deciding to reduce the number of vehicles used by different government agencies. “Our biggest problem is to eradicate corruption and monopolies.”
