Artsakhpress: New destructions in Martakert caused by Azerbaijani shelling
On April 26, Azerbaijan started shelling in the direction of Martakert at around 22:00 and continued intensively shelling until 24:00, Artsakhpress.am reports citing Mayor of Martakert, Misha Gyurjyan. In the morning, Misha Gyurjyan and an architect toured in the region and recorded the consequences of the shelling. “Unfortunately we have again recorded damages caused by Azerbaijani shelling. More than 20 houses have been damaged. Now with the architect we are inventorying the damages," Gyurjian said adding that now the situation in Martakert is relatively calm. Principlal of the school of Nerkin Horatagh village, Melanya Davtyan, informed Atsakhpress that zerbaijani troops kept the village under heavy fire at night. Fortunately, there are no casualties among the villagers.
