2-3 athletes to represent Armenia at Youth Olympic Games

Record number of nations will attend Lillehammer 2016 Youth Olympic Games in Norway on January 12-21. As the official website of the Olympic Games informs 71 countries will take part in the Games. South Africa, East Timor, Nepal, Kenya, Libya, Cyprus and Jamaica will take part in the Games for the first time. According to the preliminary information Norway will have the most participants- 73 athletes, Russia- 67, the USA- 58, Canada- 50. As the Armenian National Olympic Committee informed the sports correspondent of “A1+”, 2-3 athletes will represent Armenia in the Games.
