New Armenia: Rigged referendum violates people's right to self-determination
Analyzing the process of the constitutional referendum and summarizing the credible facts and accounts about numerous violations and outright frauds provided by Joint Opposition Headquarters, politicians and public organizations, observer missions, journalists and citizens, the New Armenia Public Salvation Front announces that a systematic violation of the electoral law was held under the guise of a constitutional referendum. "Considering the fact that unlike the previous rigged elections this latest harassment of Serzh Sargsyan’s administration refers not to the political and civil rights of separate parties, politicians and social groups but to the right to self-determination of the entire Armenian nation. We view it as a grave crime against the present and future generations. In the given crucial situation, we urge our citizens living in Armenia and outside the country to consolidate and form a united front against the destructive regime which is undermining our statehood and support our compatriots in who are fighting at Liberty Square for the nation's right to self-determination," New Armenia said in a statement issued on December 9.
