Andrias Ghukasyan, a senior member of the New Armenia Public Salvation Front started his Speech at Liberty Square analyzing the events of December 1. You know that any opposition figure is under constant control. Our telephone conversations are tapped and our actions are controlled. Our aim was to take the acting regime by surprise therefore we did not inform them in advance about our planned march along Melik Adamyan as we know that they would not sanction the march in that case. And we held the march to show the Republicans that they do not control the situation and we can show up near their office at any moment and open that door. We did not want to open that door yesterday, we only wanted them to understand that they do not control the situation,” he said.
