Composer Stepan Shakaryan turned 80. The founder and director of the RA State Committee of Radio Broadcasting Soloists’ Jazz Ensemble has created more than 100 jazz compositions, which are included in the repertoires of different Armenian jazz bands. The composition From Bingol to Kansas City has become a standard of Armenian jazz. “Moon over the mountains” CD of Shakaryan has been included in “Armenian jazz 70” collection.
