21000 shots in the direction of Armenian positions in a week
According to NKR DA operative data, on March 1-7, Azerbaijan violated the ceasefire regime at the line of contact between Karabakh and Azerbaijan about 1000 times. During that period, Azerbaijan fired more than 21000 shots in the direction of Armenian positions from weapons of different caliber including 60 and 82 mm mortars and RPG-7 grenade launchers. Besides, the adversary used ZSU-23-2. The Defense Army vanguards took relevant steps to neutralize the weapon, due to which at least 3 soldiers of the adversary and ZSU-23-2 have been destroyed. During the same period, the units of Martakert direction of the NKR Armed Forces carried out preventive actions in the North-Eastern part of the line of contact of the opposing armed forces, as a result of which 4 servicemen of the Azerbaijani special mission units, who entered the area of the operation, were eliminated. The Armenian side suffered no casualties during the above mentioned operations.
