New infiltration attempt: Azerbaijan suffers three losses
Azerbaijan launched reconnaissance-sabotage infiltration attempts in two directions overnight, trying to infiltrate the southeastern and eastern sections of the Line of Contact, Artsakh’s Defence Ministry reports.
Artsakh’s forward units timely spotted the advancement of the enemy’s special detachments, forcing them back to their initial positions.
According to preliminary data, the Azerbaijani side had three losses.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan violated the cease-fire over 320 times, firing more than 4000 shots in the direction of Armenian positions from different weapons, including mortars and grenades.
The Defense Army’s vanguard units keep the situation under control and take response measures only in cases of extreme necessity.
