Foreign Minister meets OSCE Minsk group Co-Chairs
On December 3 within the framework of the working visit to Basel, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Edward Nalbandian met the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs Ambassadors Igor Popov, James Warlick and Pierre Andrieu and the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk. Edward Nalbandian touched upon the bellicose rhetoric of Azerbaijan strengthened during the last weeks, the statements, distorting the essence and content of the negotiations, the strict violations of the ceasefire regime on the line of contact with Karabakh and on the border with Armenia, causing human losses, as well as the situation after the downing of the Artsakh Defense Army helicopter during a training flight. The sides continued the discussions on the chances for the development of the process of peaceful resolution of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict. Edward Nalbandian reconfirmed that Armenia will continue the joint efforts with the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs, directed to the peaceful resolution of the Karabakh conflict. MFA
