Troika to hold march December 10 (video)
The three non-governing political forces in Armenia have convened another sitting on November 19 which proved to be highly productive, Levon Zurabyan, Head of the Armenian National Congress (HAK) parliamentary group, said after the sitting. He said it is meaningless to negotiate with the authorities over the 12-point demands submitted by the opposition troika to the government earlier this year. “The talks are nothing more but an attempt to involve the three forces in a fruitless and imitated discussion and break the momentum of the anti-government movement. Should the authorities have the desire and the necessary political will, they will meet our demands even without negotiations,” he said. Levon Zurabyan added that on December 10 (at 1 p.m.) the troika will gather at Liberty Square in Yerevan to hold a march on the occasion of Human Rights Day.
