The Ministry of Defence confirms the reports that relevant bodies in Armenia have obtained additional information on Armenian serviceman Hakob Injighulyan’s captivity in Azerbaijan, as well as the inhuman treatment he received in captivity, gross violations of international humanitarian law and human rights, says Spokesman for Armenia’s Ministry of Defense Artsrun Hovhannisyan. “To be more precise, a video record is available which proves once again the fake nature of Azerbaijan’s propaganda. The video clearly shows the violence against Injighulyan and how he was forced into making statements that have nothing do with reality. It also accurately identifies the Azerbaijani saboteurs, who allegedly ‘visited their relatives’ graves.’ The video is not made public for ethical reasons. However, on the basis of a confidentiality agreement, it may be provided to international human rights organizations and diplomatic missions,” Hovhannisyan said.
