Yerevan has lost its features, says architect (video)
We all have our share of guilt for distorting the ‘image’ of Yerevan over years, says architect Sashur Kalashyan. “If we all acted within the law, nothing would have happened to our capital. We do not have laws that will explain to investors how far they can go,” he says. Mr Kalashyan regrets to say that the present-day Yerevan is nothing like the Yerevan he used to know. “Yerevan was one of the cities that had its features thanks to previous generations. Now the city has lost its features,” says the architect.
