Zaven Andreasyan is in first place

Three Armenian chess players took part in the international chess tournament held at the Greek Calamaria.

Chess master Zaven Andreasyan scored 7 out of a possible 9 points and was in 1st place. In the last round, he tied the match with his Bulgarian opponent Julian Radulsky. Turkish chess player Suat Atalik and Ukrainian Yuri Drozdovsky each scored 6.5 points and were in 2nd and 3rd place respectively.

Armenia's representative Vahe Baghdasaryan lost to Greek chess player Ioanis Nikolaidis in this round and went from 10th to 17th place. Aghasi Inants lost for the fourth time in a row and was registered in 55th place.
